OUR MISSION & VISION
Community Church is a place where you can know and experience Jesus, grow as His disciples, and lead your family and friends into the freedoms He offers. We want you to encounter Jesus as you join us in worship, small groups, Bible studies, and community activities.
We want Community Church to be a place where:
- You can encounter Jesus: We want you to experience the nearness of Jesus every time you enter the doors of a Community Church, a small group, or an event.
- You can experience healing: We desire to see healing in your life through the love and friendship you can experience in our small groups and church services. (Isaiah 58:6-12)
- You can worship: We want you to experience powerful moments of revelation and worship as we celebrate and you hear God’s Word, worship, serve, and lead with us. (Psalm 107:20)
- You will grow to be a disciple who makes disciples: We desire to see you develop as a disciple of Jesus. As you grow in following Him, we want you to join us in making disciples who make disciples. We believe the practice of disciple-making through our church, school, and preschool is the key to seeing God’s kingdom develop in our region. (Psalms 78:5-7)
OUR CORE VALUES
God Is Good.
God is good in His plan for your life. You can flourish in His good plan for you. (Amos 5:14-15)
Empathy and Compassion.
Grace.
We are agents of God’s grace or undeserved favor. In giving grace, we are called to serve with generosity, wisdom, and strength for the long-term health of those in our lives.
Putting People First.
Each person is a priority before the Church organization. This safeguard helps balance accountability with resources and keeps our priority to put people first.
Truth or Truth-Telling.
The Bible calls us to know the truth, tell the truth, and live in the truth. We also profess that our faith is the truth. Because Jesus is the truth, our faith is the truth, and we are to walk in the truth, anything that opposes the truth or undermines the truth is not of God and is not part of a truth-telling culture.
Nurture Justice.
Because justice is vital, we will always conform to Jesus’s character, life, and mission to establish God’s Kingdom on earth. We measure goodness, rightness, and justice by comparing them to Jesus.
Nurture Service.
Make it a priority to find needs and meet them. From volunteering to generosity to intercession and a commitment to kindness, we will serve our community with humility and take on the nature of a servant.
Develop Christlikeness.
We know maturity in Christ-like nature takes time, but our aim in words and behavior is to reflect Jesus’ nature. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we believe every disciple of Jesus can put on the new nature they have in Jesus and enjoy the power and joys of becoming like Jesus.
Community Church is in voluntary fellowship with the Assemblies of God. The statement of beliefs held by churches in this network can be found here:

Hello!! Denny Tamayo and Elizabet Delgado are the current Hispanic pastors of
Community Church, who joined in June 2021. Both are natives of Cuba, where they were involved in serving the work of the Lord, during their stay in their native country. Pastor Denny, belonging to the Assemblies of God in Cuba and accredited as National Minister, in said organization, was serving in the missionary work in his local church, full time, in the “El Calvario” Temple, in the city of Santiago de Cuba, where the growth and multiplication of small groups was developed for the Youth Department. He was then called to serve, by the grace of God, as Director of Missions in the Eastern South District of Cuba, of the Assemblies of God in Cuba, where he remained involved until his arrival in the United States of America. Pastor Elizabet, daughter of pastors, graduated from Global University as a Christian
Communicator, and was also involved in serving the work of the Lord, as secretary of the Superintendent of the South East District, and in turn, in various ministries within the local church. Pastor Taryn Vidalier
Children's Pastor
Hello, name is Taryn Vidalier and I’m the Children’s Pastor here at Community Church! My husband Kameron and I have two awesome children and have grown up in Orange County most of our lives. We came into a full relationship with God while we were engaged back in 2017. As we prepared to welcome our son into the world in 2020, we truly felt the importance of what it meant to become parents and wanted to give our kids a solid foundation in Christ. Children are a precious gift from the Lord and it is our responsibility as parents and leaders to be good stewards of our gifts.
We have now been at Community Church for seven years and served in the children’s ministry for all seven of those years! Before moving into the Children’s Pastor position I was the preschool/daycare director for six years at the church. As I felt the calling to move more into ministry I joined Orange School of Ministry where I have started working on getting credentialed with the Assemblies of God.
It is such an honor to serve the next generation and walk with them through some of their most impactful years. My heart is to see children come into a relationship with God and give them a foundation that the world cannot take a way. We want to partner with our families here at Community in helping reach, grow, and discipline their children.
